In the master bedroom, the custom-made headboard is upholstered in an Osborne & Little velvet, and the bed is dressed with Sferra linens and a vintage suzani; the cocktail table, bedside tables, and rug are by Amir Khamneipur, the 1960s settee is Danish, the shades are from Pearl River, and the walls are covered in a grass cloth by Phillip Jeffries.

In the hall outside the library, the brass-and-lacquer cabinet is by Mastercraft, and the chairs are upholstered in a Pierre Frey fabric; the artworks are by James Rosenquist, left, and Astier's daughter Colette, and the walls are sprayed with automotive paint.
